HOW WE ARE CHANGING THE PODCAST GAME

The podcast is a great way to promote cultural awareness and an appreciation of viewpoints from our hosts and guests through their cultural lens.

THE CULTURAL EXCHANGE -Sharing and learning from different cultures

ChitChat with AkuaDede is an evolving podcast that dives into the vibrant world of global culture, exploring rich heritage, traditions, and values. Our host, AkuaDede, has a unique perspective on culture, having grown up in Ghana, lived in the United Kingdom, and settled in the United States. She will showcase highlights from the rhythmic beats of African music to the intricate patterns of traditional textiles and celebrate the diversity and beauty of other cultures by discussing similarities and differences.

Furthermore, culture refers to a group of people’s shared values, customs, and behaviors. This encompasses traditions such as practices, rituals, and ceremonies passed down through generations; values: beliefs and principles that guide behavior and decision-making; language; arts and Entertainment; and social norms—unwritten rules and expectations that govern behavior within a group. Therefore, our podcast will explore, investigate, and have conversations with individuals about culture and identity.
